FAQs
What percentage of the final home sale price do you charge?
As a general rule we charge 6% of the sale price. The Listing commission structure is half of the 6% fee (3%). This is split with the cooperating brokerage (buying side) at the closing. Each client and property evaluation will help us determine the final and total costs associated with each sale.
How will you find potential buyers for my property?
Over the past 22 years things have certainly changed. Fortunately for West Michigan we do not have a lack of Ready, Willing and Able buyers that will be knocking down the door for an opportunity to own a home just like yours!
Do I need a real estate lawyer as well?
You most certainly may, however, we are licensed and regulated by the State of Michigan as well as abide by a strict set of rules and guidelines set forth by the National, Michigan and Local Association of Realtors®
Do you charge a commission for both Buyers and Sellers?
Contrary to popular belief, in most cases, NO! If a home is listed with a Realtor® the commission arrangement states that the Seller pays the commission. So in simple terms, I only charge you a commission if you allow me to sell your home or if there is a home not offering a cooperation commission for a buyer's agent (Very Rare).
